Six services.
One floor.

Use us for one operation or the whole thing, CAD in and finished part out. Because none of it goes to a third party, none of it comes back a week late with someone else's mistake in it.

Draughting

CAD files and drawings

Send whatever you have. We'll clean it up before it gets anywhere near the machine, because a bad file costs money at the cutting stage, not the drawing stage.

Our draughtsmen go through every drawing looking for the things that quietly ruin a job: kerf compensation, corner relief, bend allowance, minimum flange, holes sitting too close to a bend or an edge. If we find something, you get a phone call before we cut, not an apology afterwards.

No CAD at all? Send a sketch on paper, a photo with a tape measure in it, or the old part in a bag. We'll draw it up. It's a completely normal way to start.

Cutting

CNC laser cutting

A 6 kW fibre source on a full-sheet bed, with automatic height sensing and proper nesting on every job.

Clean edges, minimal burr, and consistency across a run. One prototype bracket or a few thousand parts, it's the same machine and the same operator checking it.

The nesting matters more than most people realise. Packing your parts tightly onto the sheet is the difference between paying for two sheets and paying for one, and that saving lands on your invoice rather than in our offcut bin.

Forming

CNC press-brake bending

160 tonnes over four metres, fully CNC controlled, with a programmable back-gauge and multi-stage bend programmes.

Tooling gets chosen for the material and the finish so we don't mark a surface you're going to see. And the bend order is programmed so an operator can physically handle the part inside the machine, which sounds obvious and gets missed all the time.

Repeatability sits at roughly ±0.1 mm.

Not sure whether your part will bend? The bend force calculator gives you tonnage, inside radius, minimum flange and bend deduction in about a second. It's free, and you don't have to send us anything to use it.

Fabrication, design
and getting it to you.

Fabrication, rolling and welding

Complete weldments, assembly and finishing. Two CO₂ welding stations and a 10 tonne overhead crane mean we can handle medium to large fabrications here, including rolling and forming work for parts that need more than a fold.

Keeping this in-house is the whole point. The moment a weldment goes across town to a third party you lose a day, and you lose the person who knows what the part is supposed to do.

  • Weldments and sub-assemblies
  • Plate rolling and forming
  • Finishing and preparation
  • Heavy plate handled on site

Design and development

Design optimisation, value engineering, prototypes and manufacturability advice. If your part can be made faster, lighter or cheaper without changing what it does, we'll say so before we quote rather than after we've banked the money.

Delivery

Quality-checked, packaged and delivered on time, Gauteng or nationwide. Parts arrive labelled and reconciled against your spec, so goods-in isn't a puzzle. Collection from Germiston is usually quicker if you're nearby.

Quality

Checking happens during the job, not at the end of it.

Five points where somebody stops and actually looks.

Your spec against the drawing pack

Reconciled before a single sheet gets loaded. Most of the expensive misunderstandings die here.

Steel grade confirmed

Material suitability checked before cutting. The wrong grade gets caught in our yard, not on your site.

Operator checks, in process

At the cut stage and again at the bend stage, by the person running the machine.

Dimensions verified

Measured against your drawing before anything is packed. Not sampled, measured.

Job recorded

Kept in the IK+ system for traceability, which is why a repeat order is a two-minute phone call.
