We engineer
parts in steel.
And our software.

It is a strange thing for a fabrication shop to spend its evenings on. We built the system anyway, and it now runs the operational side of this workshop every day.

Why a fabricator writes software

Most shops our size compete on price alone.

We compete on price, turnaround and transparency, because our own system shows us what is happening to your job while it is happening.

When the schedule is tied to live machine and labour data, the delivery date you get is one we can hit. When job records are digital rather than a lever-arch file on a shelf, a repeat order is a two-minute phone call. And when a client can see where their part is, nobody has to walk to the machine and squint at it.

None of that is glamorous. It is just the difference between a promise and a schedule, and it is the reason the estimator on this site works at all.

Every job, every stage

Where your job is, at any moment.

Operators log jobs against machines as they run them. So the stage a job is at is a fact in the system, not somebody's recollection of Tuesday.

Stage 01Draughting
Stage 02Laser
Stage 03Bending
Stage 04QA
Stage 05Dispatch

This is an illustration of the pipeline, not a live feed. Client access to the real view is still being built. See the roadmap below.

Live

Workforce clocking

Everybody clocks in and out digitally. Attendance, hours and shifts get tracked as they happen, which means labour cost per job is a number we measured rather than a number we guessed.

Live

Live job tracking

Operators log jobs against machines on the floor, so we can see what is being cut, bent and dispatched right now. More usefully, we can see where work is piling up before it turns into a late delivery.

Live

Push notifications & alerts

Supervisors get alerts on job status, late clock-ins and machine availability. The point is that problems surface while there is still time to do something about them.

Live

Progressive Web App

It installs on any phone, tablet or shop-floor terminal without going near an app store. One codebase, instant updates, and it runs on the hardware we already owned.

Live

Cloud-backed records

Attendance, jobs and operational data, stored securely and reachable from anywhere. Every part we have ever made for you has a history in there, which is why a repeat order does not need a fresh drawing pack.

Roadmap

In development.

Status Funded roadmap

Automated DXF quoting module In build

Upload a DXF and the system prices it from material, thickness, cut length and bend count. Hours down to seconds. The estimator on this site is the first public piece of it.

Client-facing job portal In build

Every customer gets a login to see exactly where their job is: in draughting, on the laser, in bending, in QA, or out for delivery.

Material stock-level integration In build

The quoting and scheduling engine reads live raw-material stock, so jobs are only promised on dates we can actually deliver.

Compliance document library In build

B-BBEE, tax, CSD and CIPC documents generated for tender submissions. The pack assembled in minutes instead of chased for days.

For you

What any of this gets you.

01

Faster, more consistent quotations

The same inputs give the same price, whoever in the office you speak to.

02

Delivery dates you can plan around

Tied to real machine and material capacity rather than optimism.

03

Visibility without phoning the floor

Job stage gets recorded as it happens, so a status update takes seconds.

04

Simple repeat orders

We still have the drawing, the nest and the settings from last time.

Want to see it running? Come through and we will open it on a terminal while you are standing on the floor.
